Most over the: counter multivitamins are very weak. They have a whole list of ingredients in them. The half-life of each ingredient varies. Vitamin C, for example, leaves the body in about 12 hours. W/out seeing the ingredients, it is probable that most of the vitamins will be gone w/in a few days. Peace and good health. Also, each person metabolizes various vitamins at various speeds.

Not long: Vitamins can stay in the body for hours (water soluble ones) to weeks (fat soluble ones). But do not worry. Two multivitamins will not hurt you, and are practically a placebo for most Americans.
