Before!!: If you have an ectopic pregnancy that ruptures, that is a surgical emergency that must be dealt with now. Go directly to the er, they can call your dr from there, you will need surgery to keep you from bleeding to death.

Yesterday: Agree with the previous answer. Yesterday! you don't 'follow' ectopics, once diagnosed they need to be treated immediately.
