Don't eat meat!: There are different subtypes of a vegetarian diet. Most vegetarians do not eat meat (including poultry & seafood) but do eat dairy & eggs. Some avoid all animal-derived foods (this is a vegan diet). It is important that you obtain adequate protein- excellent sources of protein include eggs, nuts, seeds, beans & dairy.
