So long as you eat: well. Humans were not really cut out to eat meat. We have the wrong kind of teeth and digestive system.

Be discerning: If you're a vegetarian, you'll need to supplement to get enough of some of your nutrients such as B12 and iron. Even protein may be a challenge. Despite all the huckstering, the big studies show no difference between vegetarians and omnivores in longevity or any category of disease when you control for the other stuff. You can claim the moral high ground. Make the choice freely.
