Can braces alone lend some improvement to a posterior crossbite (skeletal), without surgery?

Arch Discrepancy: If there is a discrepancy in the maxillary arch size in relationship to the mandible, then surgery is the most likely treatment of choice. Orthodontics move teeth through bone, and there is only so much bone available before they are moved out of the buccal plate. A local orthodontist will be able to answer this question the best.

Combination protocol: of the DNA appliance worn only during the evening and nighttime, followed later by the use of braces may improve anterior and posterior cross-bites. Ask your orthodontist for more information.
