What else?: What else needs to be done? What type of cross-bite corrective appliance are you wearing? How severe is your problem? Is the orthodontist also trying to correct alignment, overbite, etc? There is no "normally", every patient is different. Ask your orthodontic specialist for the answer that pertains only to your problem.
