Could braces help straighten out a crossbite in adults or would i need jaw surgery to fix this as well?

Crossbite: See an orthodontist for an evaluation of your crossbite. Your treatment recommendations will depend on the position of your teeth and your jaw structure. . It will take an evaluation to answer your question.

Maybe: Only if you have a slight or a very small cross bite. Normally for adults with major cross bites they would need some sorts of orthonagthic surgery. But it's all case dependent so why don't you see an orthodontist for a proper diagnosis. Hope that helps

Yes, you can: A common method of treatment for crossbite is orthodontics, specifically braces. However, the best solution is to get an appointment with an orthodontist and to talk about your individual treatment options.

Braces can help: Braces can help correcting the cross bite. Ofcourse, the severity of cross bite does have direct relation to the outcome. In some cases , surgery is the option.

Possibly: If jaws match but teeth misaligned, tooth movement may be treatment of choice. If you have a skeletal mslrelationship, however, boney foundation has to be corrected as well as resetting the teeth. Tooth movement alone can actually do harm if bones do not match. See an Orthodontic Specialist for advice.
