I have just noticed a real small cut on my gum and no idea where it came from. bottom left, right near the gum line...how serious is this? help??

Chill: ou mentioned, just noticed it. Therefore, it wasn't bothering you /no trauma that you are aware that brought it on. Chewing something with a sharp edge may have caused it, like a Pop corn husk. You stated no symptoms like fever/chills, headache, nausea or vomiting. Likely it will be gone in 48 hours. If it persists or enlarges, then have it evaluated. Always use good oral hygiene-brush your teeth
