My left top canine tooth has a tiny swollen spot 1/8 in above the outer gum line that is sensitive, as if there is something behind my gum... ideas?

Parulis (Gum Boil): This could be a parulis, or gum boil. It is the result of a deeper irritation or infection working and draining its way out. You should have the area examined by a dentist to see if the tooth is "going bad" or maybe some food became imbedded.
