Can't say why: But I can support your decision to switch doctors. If you really feel it is inappropriate, you might even make a complaint to the State licensing agency. It's what they are there for. They handle these things all the time. If you just don't like it - switch. I'd recommend a call to the State even to get clarification. Best wishes.
