Psychiatrist time: A patient with "severe panic attacks" and has been cleared from a cardiology and primary care point of view, may then see a psychiatrist to get such attacks taken care of. Hopefully, the problem is what the other doctors believe it is, the problem responds well to medication, and the patient learns how to live life knowing she has to adjust meds and therapy to meet life's varying circumstances.
