Could be: Swelling and metallic taste are indicative of infection. 2 things you can do to see if it's abscessed. Tap on the tooth, if it hurts more than tapping on your other teeth, you may have abscess. Also, push on tooth like you are trying to push it up into the gum. If it hurts, could be abscessed. If no responses to those tests, could just be gum abscess rather than tooth abscess. Dentist trip asap

Possibly.: An abscessed incisor is a possibility but it's not the only one. You may have gum inflammation or irritation from insufficient oral care, a mild injury from contact to hot food or liquid or even vigorous brushing from a hard bristle tooth brush. If the swelling gets worse or it starts to hurt, you should see a dentist. Some medications can cause a metallic taste but, in your case, I don't know.
