New tooth: At 11 years old you most likely still have some baby teeth in the back. For most kids your age the next to last tooth is still a baby second molar. The 'bump" may be the new permanent tooth coming in. If the "bump" is on the cheek side this is probably the case. I see this very often. The solution is to have the baby tooth removed by your dentist for the new tooth can come in better.
