Call dentist: Did your dentist prescribe antibiotics in addition? Call the dentist to make sure that the swelling is normal. There is always some swelling after an extraction on a normal basis and it may take a while due to the severity of the infection. Check with the dentist to alleviate any concerns.

Be patient: It took a long time for the infection to become severe enough to require a surgical solution. It will take time to heal. It should be a little better every day. If not, call your Surgeon or treating Dentist immediately. Important to also talk to your Dentist about timely tooth replacement...don't ignore this.

Probably normal: It will take up to several weeks for everything to go back to normal. If it does not continue to improve or gets worse, you should go immediately to the surgeon that took them out
