Yes if it is a : Typical teenage related onset one known as idiopathic scoliosis at your age there is very small chance of progression unless it is in lower back or lumbar spine. If there, then a higher risk of low back pain with age & with degenerative changes with age, & with possible loss of bone density then a further risk of progression after middle age. Speak to your orthopedist about ways to minimize risk.
