I'm 7 mos post (2nd) midfoot fusion, bone graph just started fusing. suddenly have hard, very painful area at incision site on inner foot. any ideas?

Varies: there are many potential causes, i would certainly let your surgeon know. If this is the second surgery, presumably first surgery was not successful; and possibly this one may not be healing either, or it may be as simple as that you have broken up some of the scar tissue that may have developed form your surgery and probable prolonged immobilization. Discuss with your surgeon, CT may tell more.
