Moderation is the key: A low carb diet, lots of non-starchy fruits and vegetables, lean protein and healthy oils (olive and coconut). Avoid sweets and processed foods as much as possible. Keep your body moving with regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming or gym workouts. Try to do everything in moderation, extreme measures are usually not balanced and impossible to sustain long term.

No single best but:: No single diet is best for everyone but most folks should eat mostly vegetables, fruit, nuts & seeds with moderate use of dairy & eggs.If you desire meat use in moderation. Salad & salmon diet: 1-2 glasses of filtered water on the rise. Breakfast- oatmeal with nuts & milk-almond milk if available.Some protein- boiled or poached egg is good & fruit of the season. Lunch- green salad with beans & nuts. Supper- eat before 6PM- lean meat or fish with plenty of vegetables & a cup of brown rice or 2-3 rotis. 2-3 L of water/day
