Longevity: So far we can not change our genes. The only thing we can do is to have good eating habits ( low bad cholesterol, low sodium, plenty of fruits and vegetabes or increased fiber, plenty of antioxidants) and do regular exercise, and avoid things that are dangerouse like smoking, drugs or excessive drinking, or risky sex.

None of us knows how long we've got. But to make the best use of what you have makes the most sense. And taking care of yourself can mean freedom from pain, fear and suffering.
