My diagnosis of sle was recently changed to mctd by my rheumatologist. was i misdiagnosed for years or can sle turn into mctd? was it something i did wrong?

See details: The distinction between the 2 diseases is often very subtle and it is not unusual for the correct diagnosis to become more apparent as time passes. There was no misdiagnosis and it is not a case of one disease turning into another. You did nothing wrong.

Two years ago I had a postive ana. Recently I had a comprehensive ANA panel done and by rnp antibodies were 4.4. Could this be sle or mctd?
