Depends: The standard dipstick used to test urine does diagnose pregnancy. It is most commonly used to help diagnose urinary tract infections or problems with the kidneys. However, doctors do use dipstick pregnancy tests in their offices similar to those you can buy in the drugstore. So it depends on exactly which kind of dipstick was used.
