Do you think it's a good idea to get a root canal and crown to fix a crooked tooth?

Hard to say...: Can't really answer your question... does the tooth actually need root canal therapy due to decay/deep restoration, or is the tooth being mutilated to a point where it needs root canal therapy and a crown to make it look good? Get a second opinion from another local dentist and/or orthodontist.

Whenever: Whenever teeth are crooked, it's advisable to get an opinion from a tooth-straightening expert, a qualified Orthodontic Specialist. Root canal/crown is a surgical option. Braces are a non-surgical option. Seek advice before making a decision.
