Tooth infection: Antibiotics will not cure a tooth infection, they will only mitigate the symptoms. The tooth needs to be treated. Make an appointment to see a dentist.

AB Not Recommended: Your problem is not that rare, but antibiotics aren't effective in treating root canal and cannot cure a root canal infection. Your tooth needs root canal treatment by a dentist or an endodntist.
