For over a year i have had multiple urinalysis showing protein and leukocytes. there is no uti or kidney problems. what could be causing it?

Here are some ...: Generally speaking, the presence of protein + WBCs in the uirne suggests having some kinds of kidney inflammation although there has been no UTI and kidney function remains "normal" as suggested in serum creatinine, which wouldn't elevate until losing >65% of total renal function. So, you may see nephrologist for F/U and it's advisable to avoid drug use such as NSAIDs & practice healthy lifestyle.
