Yes: MRI is much more sensative to the tissue of the brain. This doesn't mean it will, but you should consider it. The MRI also gets a better look at regions of the brain that CT has trouble with due to the bones of the skull. Children usually do not get headaches so as you get older any finding may be more readily seen . Talk to your doctors
