Prosopagnosia: Transient global amnesia is defined as a lapse in time where no memories can be produced. Usually patients do not recall the episode and are told by others of the event. Prosopagnosia is the inability to recognize faces. Migraines can present with prosopagnosia during the aura phase. Other considerations include a transient ischemic attack, stroke or seizures. Consider mri, eeg, carotid ultrasound.

consult neurologist: Migraines can have unusual symptoms, and do not need to include a headache. Some people have auras before the headache, and others lose the ability to speak. However, please consider consultation with a neurologist. Mri of the head may also be useful to confirm no significant brain abnormality.
