Is it safe to take unisom with suboxone if it has been hours since last dose? suboxone gives me mild insomnia.

Suboxone long acting: Because of the long acting nature of Suboxone, hours since last dose doesn't mean it is all that much lower level in your system. But as long as Suboxone is taken in the prescribed dose and Unisom in the recommended dose, it should be safe. In my experience about one patient in three experiences insomnia if Suboxone is taken late in the day. For them early in the day dosing can help a lot.
