Is it ok to take suboxone-- i take 8mg x 2 film once a day in the am-- and an otc sleep med-- advil (ibuprofen) pm, zzzquil-- at nite? having trouble sleeping.

Generally yes.: In general it is medically acceptable to take Suboxone with an OTC sleep med. You should however clear this OTC sleep med with the provider who prescribed the suboxone. This provider should have a pain agreement in place and taking certain medicines without his/her knowledge could violate that agreemeent. Also, although Suboxone generally does not interact with OTC sleep meds, other meds could.
