A CT revealed a large liver lesion. I have a pacemaker so i can't have a mri. Should I have the biopsy, or wait another 6 months for a repeat CT scan.
If a CT scan discovered a liver lesion but couldnt state whether benign or cancer, ultrasound & MRI says suspicious for metastatic disease and PET scan says no evidence of FDG uptake, is the PET scan more accurate in its assessment? Biopsy needed?
2 weeks ago, CT scan showed single 1cm nodular lesion in liver. Follow up CT scan was clear, ultrasound was clear. Different hospital so no comparison. Do I need further evaluation? MRI? Comparison of CTs?
