Liver lesion: If a focal liver lesion is identified on CT, it should be seen on MRI. MRI may help to provide a more specific diagnosis. It may not be nothing, but it may be benign. For example, hemangioma is a common benign liver lesion requiring no treatment. Contrast enhanced MRI(and contrast enhanced CT for that matter) tailored for liver lesion evaluation can help make the diagnosis.
