Can mri without contrast still be effective in deciding about benign vs malignent (god forbids) liver lesion?

MRI WITH contrast...: Even an MRI WITH contrast won't be completely accurate in distinguishing a benign or (God forbid) malignant liver lesion. The GOLD STANDARD way to determine malignancy is by biopsy. Now, some liver lesions are deep & cannot be biopsied without risky surgery. Not everyone can undergo surgery. MRI with contrast can help determine whether or not to take this risk, but by itself is not diagnostic. GL.
