I had a thyroid ultrasound wednesday. the day after the ultrasound i got an appointment with the specialist endo for 5 days later. the clinic's normal wait time is 4-6 weeks. should i be concerned?

No: Be glad you got in quickly. The specialist will target more tests, etc, to make diagnosis and plan treatment, if needed.

No: Go to the appt and see what happens. Worst that can happen is he tells you you have nodules. These are very common. You can't tell if something is cancerous on an ultrasound.
