Thyroidologist: Your thyroidologist, endocrinologist, or thyroid surgeon is best qualified to answer this question. He or she ,who has examined and evaluated you, would sit down with the radiologist who interpreted your ultrasound and determine the best interval between your ultrasound and the next one and whether a needle biopsy is advisable at that time
