My endo sent me for an ultrasound despite feeling no nodules-thyroid. if they dont feel them, should i feel safer that u/s will be ok?

Thyroid nodules: The thyroid ultrasound is more sensitive for detecting nodules. Small nodules, or nodules deep in the gland, may be difficult or impossible to detect on physical exam. So, the ultrasound could find small non palpable nodules.
