Constant ketosis: In light of the fact that your infant "is a good eater and eats a variety of solids", breast feeding her while on the ketogenic diet probably will not harm the baby. Not a problem: By eight months their dependence on breast milk begins to wain.Your breast will sort out the needs for baby and supply them adequately.Realize that breastfeeding is also a way to lose some pregnancy weight and you should target losing no more than a pound or two per week. Any more would place your body under some significant metabolic stress.
