I went for a breast ultrasound and they found a cyst that is complex and recommended a biopsy. can the dr drain the cyst its not solid just bigger than the other cyst i have?

The problem is that a “complex cyst” may not drain easily. It may have a mix of solid and fluid components, and they want to sample the solid parts too. Depending upon the appearance of the cyst, the radiologist may offer a short term (like 3 months) follow up instead of a biopsy.
