Meds: i recommend using a combo of the nicoderm (nicotine patch) patches & nicotine lozenges as needed for intense craving. i don't think the prescription meds are more effective than patches/gum/lozenges. given your hesitation with zyban i wouldn't recommend chantix either. if none of that is appealing then try cutting back slowly, set a limit then go down a couple cigs each week. exercise. stress reduction. discipline
