Not true: Rhinoplasty is often done to reduce the size of the nose and it is surgically possible to do so.

No: Rhinoplasty is commonly done to make the nose smaller. Yet, there is a limit to how small the nose can be made as skin is not typically removed during the procedure.

Big Nose After Surg: The nose should not look bigger after rhinoplasty than it did before surgery. Rhinoplasty is designed to make asymmetric or wide noses look better. However, surgeons are limited by what they have to work with. If the nose is very thick-skinned and very wide to begin with, then rhinoplasty may improve it's shape but cannot transform it into something completely. See my website for examples of this.

Rhinoplasty: It is not impossible to perform reduction rhinoplasty. In fact it is very common. Perhaps, evaluating pre and postop pictures would be helpful.
