Dr. Minas Constantinides is Secretary of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and a Director on the Board of Directors on the American Board of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. From 1994 until 2012, he was the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology at New York University Langone Medical Center. He continues to director of the fellowship program in facial plastic reconstructive surgery at NYU. He received his A.B. with Honors from Brown University in 1983 and his M.D. from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1987. He underwent specialty training at Harvard in general surgery and at NYU Medical Center in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. After completing his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1994, Dr. Constantinides accepted his position at NYU School of Medicine. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed and invited articles and recently edited the “Cosmetic Rhinoplasty” issue of Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America. He has given over 150 lectures focusing primarily on rhinoplasty nationally and internationally. He has been listed among the best facial plastic surgeons in New York by Castle-Connolly, New York Magazine, and Town and Country. He serves as an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His pro bono efforts have focused on establishing facial plastic surgery in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he travels annually on surgical and educational missions.
