Needs to evaluate: It is not uncommon to find a condition called vesico ureteral reflux or a narrowing of the drainage portion of the kidney as it meets the ureter or so called upj stenosis. Both of these would require a pediatric urology opinion. In the great majority of cases medical treatment and observation over time is all that is required.
