I've had social anxiety for years! i'm only 24 but i've tried every ssri/snri+mirtazapine under the sun. does this mean un-treatable? tried therapy 2

Not un-treatable: Now you've learned that medication is not the solution-- that's important to know. But psychotherapy is not a standardized procedure. There are many forms of therapy and therapists, and finding the right "fit" is crucial see a psychologist (a phd), see him/her regularly (at least weekly), and keep at it until you find help your problems are treatable- -with the right psychologist.

Anxiety: Anxiety and Phobias are not necessarily helped by antidepressant medication. There are psychotherapeutic approaches that can help you. It is good to find a Clinical Psychologist that has had success in helping people overcome their phobias. There are also medications that can help calm you if you have a panic attack.
