Vitamin B: The b vitamins, b1, b2 and b6 are all water soluble and, therefore, are not stored in the body. If you take more than the daily requirement of each of these, you will urinate them out. If you eat a balanced diet, you probably do not need to take vitamins. If you do not, take a generic multi-vitamin pill take has all the b vitamins as well as vitamin c.

Yes: While b complex is often helpful, it doesn't have the many other essential nutrients found in a multivit. As long as the total amount of b6 in both supplements doesn't exceed 200 mg (which is unlikely) it's safe to take both, though it may not be necessary to take an extra b complex if you get a good multivitamin. There are many good brands- see http://bit.Ly/1b36cq0 any in the top 30 are great.
