It depends on the ac: We need to know what is your actual platelet count? You do not need to worry if the platelet count is not much higher than the normal range(up to 350, 000). Even upto 400-450 thousand does not raise any serious concerns. But it your count is over 500, 000 then you need closer and repeat follow up of your CBC and platelet counts.

How high?: The most common cause of a somewhat-high platelet count is iron deficiency. If you are iron deficient now, you need to address this at once, especially since you're going to be a mother. Cause (dietary, blood loss monthly or from other source) needs to be found. If the count is high enough to warrant a hematology referral, it can be done while you're pregnant.
