Yes: Pregnancy-induced thrombocytopenia (low platelets in pregnancy) will generally resolve in the first few days to weeks after delivery. There are other causes of low platelets that may need to be addressed depending on how low the platelet count gets as well as how fast it may or may not rebound. It also depends on your general health.

Usually: Assuming your platelets are usually in the normal range, they should return to normal if the pregnancy is the reason for the change. There are many reasons for an abnormal platelet count. Your doctor will check them for you.
