Likely iron: Deficient. Anemia and increased platelet counts are often indicators of iron deficiency anemia and a 10 month old is susceptible to iron deficiency. No need to worry but keep your appointment with hematologist.

My iron is normal. My hemoglobin is normal plus the rest of my CBC. However, my Platelets are 420 when they should be 400 or less. Is it possible to be anemic even though my iron is normal? I dont see my doc til the 20th. Thank you?
