My iron is normal. my hemoglobin is normal plus the rest of my cbc. however, my platelets are 420 when they should be 400 or less. is it possible to be anemic even though my iron is normal? i dont see my doc til the 20th. thank you?

You do not have anemia if the rest of your CBC is normal. Your platelets are borderline normal, for many labs the upper normal range goes to 450k. It is likely that you will have a CBC repeated in case this was the result of a regular screen.
