Not usually: Although possible (in rheumatoid arthrits and other severe arthritic diseases), typically adult scoliosis does not progress as quickly as adolescent scoli. The worry is that you actually have adolescent scoliosis and it may progress. I suggest careful follow up by a spine surgeon.
