Be consistent: The first key is to be consistent and not expect to change things in one day. If you overdo it you will just get injured. I'd do some aerobics such as walking or cycling 3-5 times a week. I'd also do some light weights to tone up your upper and lower extremities. Some core exercises for your abdomen will also help.
