A member asked:

I haden echocardiogram 1 year ago and the doctor said it looked good...can a lot change in a year?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Echo: For the echocardiogram to change in a year, you would have had to have damage to the heart muscle(from a heart attack or viral infection, etc) or have developed heart valve damage(from infection or rheumatic fever, etc) within the past 12 months. In other words it would have taken something quite serious to have occurred.
