A member asked:

I'm 46 y/o woman , i go to the doctor every year and make routine labs, lipid panel, check ups all is fine, labs are perfect. i'm overweight, working on that, do 30 min exercise daily. do i need echocardiogram, ekg or something as routine too?

Your doctor who knows your health history is in a better position to advise you. Unneeded tests have consequences, as there are always some false positives that lead to more tests or even invasive procedures. Losing weight is not easy, but essential. You may consider joining a support group like weight watchers. Get Covid vaccine. Wish you good health!
