Two issues?: You may have acid reflux, and that is why you are receiving omeprazole, although it may also be helpful to know if you are helicobacter pylori positive, in which case you do need antibiotics. If you have thrush as an adult, and there is no underlying reason, you need to be assessed for immune deficiency and tested for HIV disease. Don't know your physician's specialty, and might want a referral.

Thrush: Thrush is caused by a fungus. Antibiotics treat bacteria, not fungus. Acid reflux may be caused by a specific bacteria that will respond to antibiotic treatment, but will not treat your fungal infection. Seek referral to both an Oral Medicine Specialist and a Specialist Gastroenterologist.
